Perse pupils achieve a record number of A* grades at I/GCSE
Perse pupils have amassed 678 A* grades at I/GCSE, with 22 students achieving a clean sweep of 10 or more A* grades, including one student who gained an outstanding 12 A* grades and an A in Additional Maths.
Nearly two thirds of grades were awarded at A*, and the percentage of entries graded at A* or A was an outstanding 88%.
Head, Ed Elliott, commented: “These are excellent results and a just reward for our talented Year 11 pupils. The Perse has been moving from Modular GCSEs to the challenging linear IGCSE, so these outstanding grades have been hard won. What is even more impressive is that the top grades have been achieved alongside everything else that Perse pupils do from playing in competitive sports to participating in overseas expeditions.”
