The Perse family of schools
The Perse family of schools consists of The Perse School Cambridge, The Perse School Singapore and The Perse School Suzhou.
The Perse School Cambridge International (TPSCI), works with partners who share our passion to establish excellent international schools, utilising our expertise in providing a world-class education with our partner’s strengths and expertise. The international schools are operated under licence agreements with TPSCI.
The Perse School in Singapore
The Perse School in Singapore opened in January 2020. It is an accredited Cambridge International School following the Cambridge International Primary (Year 1 to 6) and Lower Secondary Curriculum (Year 7 starting August 2022, with higher years to follow).
In line with The Perse values, it emphasises academic achievement with a unique, nurturing environment. It offers Singapore Mathematics and has daily Mandarin classes in addition to English, Science, Geography, History, Art, Music, PE, Global Perspectives, and Digital Literacy.
Children are encouraged to participate in a breadth of activities, with an all-rounded education full of clubs, sports, outdoor pursuits, music, art and drama. The Perse School Singapore is in the heart of Bukit Timah, a residential area in Singapore, and across from Bukit Timah nature reserve.
The Perse School in Suzhou
The Perse School Suzhou opened in September 2021 in the very heart of the ancient city, less than 25 minutes by high speed train from central Shanghai. It was the second international school to open as part of The Perse family of schools.
The Perse School Suzhou teaches Cambridge IGCSE and IA levels, along with some bespoke Perse curriculum, to Chinese and international students of high school age (15+) as well as a bilingual curriculum to children of middle school age (11+).
The Perse School Suzhou fosters academic excellence in a supportive pastoral environment. The school is ultimately preparing students for international qualifications and in turn international universities. Students become confident, caring, independent learners with the skills and attributes required for further study outside of China.
How we work
Each international school is independently owned and operated. TPSCI has close involvement with its international schools through our dedicated team, who work closely with the senior management, setting standards and ensuring the successful transfer of the Perse vision, values, educational approach and curriculum. Representatives of TPSCI sit on the Advisory Council of each school.
TPSCI is keen to work with partners who would like to establish excellent international schools, which share the Perse vision.
Our global community
Our international schools build on the 400+ year heritage and expertise of The Perse School Cambridge.
The strength of a Perse education lies in providing for the academic, pastoral and extra-curricular needs of our children, while maximising the value of our location in Cambridge.
With three Perse Schools across the world, the global community of Perse learners is even more evident as we link our schools together through education and enrichment projects.
