The Perse will be holding its fourth annual telephone campaign from Monday 4 to Monday 18 September to keep in touch with Old Perseans and past parents, update them on the latest news from the School and raise money for our An Enduring Gift campaign. Our callers will be 2017 upper sixth leavers and OPs who have left the School in recent years.
Philanthropy has been at the heart of The Perse since Dr Stephen Perse left substantial funds to realise his vision of setting up a first class educational establishment in 1615. The funds raised during the campaign will help us to provide life-changing opportunities for young people from a wide range of backgrounds by promoting goals inspired by our founder’s philanthropy:
• Means-tested bursaries for pupils who would not otherwise be able to access a Perse education
• Facilities that support and enhance our core mission, such as a new performing arts centre to provide a space for learning beyond the classroom
• Helping others beyond the school gates through our outreach programme in partnership with local primary schools
Those whom we are planning to call in the telephone campaign will receive a letter or email in late August providing more information and giving them the opportunity to opt out. If you would prefer not to receive a call, or if you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Sarah Gordon, Deputy Development Director, on firstname.lastname@example.org or (+44) 1223 403836.
We look forward to catching up with many Old Perseans and past parents in September.
