The Perse will be holding our third annual telephone campaign from Monday 5 to Monday 19 September 2016 to keep in touch with Old Perseans and past parents, update them on the latest news from the School and raise money for our An Enduring Gift campaign.
Philanthropy has been at the heart of The Perse since Dr Stephen Perse left substantial funds to realise his vision of setting up a first class educational establishment in 1615.
Our campaign seeks to further this aim of providing life-changing opportunities for young people from a wide range of backgrounds by promoting goals inspired by our founder’s philanthropy:
- Means-tested bursaries for pupils who would not otherwise be able to access a Perse education
- Facilities that support and enhance our core mission, such as a new performing arts centre to provide a space for learning beyond the classroom
- Helping others beyond the school gates through our outreach programme in partnership with local primary schools
We are looking forward to having the opportunity to speak to many former pupils and friends of the School. Those whom we plan to call have been sent a letter or email and have the opportunity to opt out if they would prefer not to hear from us.
If you have any questions about the telephone campaign, please do not hesitate to contact Sarah Gordon, Deputy Development Director, on (01223) 403836 or PerseADO@perse.co.uk
