The Perse will be holding its fifth annual telephone campaign from 3 to 17 September. We are looking forward to catching up with many Old Perseans, past parents and friends of the School, alongside gaining support for our An Enduring Gift campaign.
Our callers will be a team of recent Perse leavers, who will use their first-hand knowledge and experience to keep OPs and past parents in touch with the School today. Applications to be a caller in the 2018 campaign have now closed, but if you are interested in working on future campaigns, please contact Sarah Gordon, Deputy Development Director, on email@example.com or (+44) 1223 403836.
We will write to those we plan to call in the campaign in mid-August with more information, as well as details of how to opt out if you would prefer not to receive a call. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Sarah (contact details above).
Philanthropy at The Perse
Charitable giving has been at the heart of The Perse since Dr Stephen Perse left substantial funds to realise his vision of setting up a first class educational establishment in 1615. The funds raised during our telephone campaigns help us to provide life-changing opportunities for young people from a wide range of backgrounds by promoting goals inspired by our founder’s philanthropy:
• Means-tested bursaries for pupils who would not otherwise be able to access a Perse education
• Outreach work in the local community such as our partnerships with local primary schools
• Facilities that support and enhance our core mission, such as the new Peter Hall Performing Arts Centre to provide a space for learning beyond the classroom
Thank you to all our donors, particularly those who made the 2017 telephone campaign the most successful Perse campaign to date.
