The Perse is Cambridge’s oldest surviving secondary school. The Perse has its roots in benefaction; Dr Perse founded the School with a generous bequest in his will. Although rich and varied in many ways, The Perse is not a wealthy institution. We do not have an endowment of any significance, and so rely on fee income and the generosity of our donors to deliver outstanding education for the future generations.
In 2015 we initiated a major fundraising campaign An Enduring Gift and we turn to the entire Perse community to support us in this endeavour. Your gift to the campaign will play an important role in enabling future generations to benefit from the enduring gift of a life changing education.
Inspired by Dr Perse’s philanthropy, we are committed to three projects that will make the excellent Perse education even more transformative, and that will deliver our world-class education to a wider community of pupils.
