Beyond the Classroom
Sixth Form

Choose your adventure

We have a wide range of exciting extra-curricular opportunities on offer.

Pupils choose from many options in art, music, drama, dance, sport, outdoor pursuits and a vibrant programme of clubs and societies.

Whether cultivating a particular talent, competing against the best or taking part for fun, activities beyond the classroom help to create the buzz of daily school life.

Through involvement in extra-curricular activities, pupils become more rounded and gain a sense of perspective about their academic studies. Helping pupils develop ‘breadth and balance’ is one of our values. We encourage everyone to take full advantage of the opportunities available, get involved and make commitments.

Quality time spent on the pitch, stage, trail and in the studio helps students develop self-confidence, organisation and resilience and, more often than not, interests for life.

We offer more than 100 clubs and societies, from bridge to sewing, robotics to debating, and literature to ecology, in addition to 70+ music ensembles and more than 150 sports teams.

One of our most popular extra-curricular options is the Perse Exploration Society.

Our Sixth Form students have the chance to take part in a once in a lifetime international expedition at the end of Lower Sixth.

Pupils combine their academic success with the active pursuit of an extremely broad range of interests, often at an extremely high level.
