What will your child study?

In the Lower School, we aim to build on the progress made in primary or prep school. In Year 7 we study number bases, basic algebra, number patterns, functions and graphs and further number work.

In Year 8, we develop algebra to the level of solving equations, ratio, transformation geometry, circle formulae, Pythagoras’ theorem and trigonometry.

How will they be assessed?

Pupils are assessed through homework and common termly tests.
