Below is a table of the Classics department’s most recent results in Greek.

University entrants
The Perse has a strong tradition of preparing students for entrance to top universities to read Classics. Numerous Classicists have gone from The Perse to Oxford and Cambridge, receiving dedicated programmes of extension work to assist their interview preparation and transition to university. Teaching staff within the department frequently use some very challenging Greek texts to encourage and promote discussion with Oxbridge candidates.
Competitions
The department assists pupils for Greek Reading competitions, run by the Classical Association. In recent years pupils from The Perse have enjoyed numerous successes in these competitions, receiving high praise from acclaimed judges. Sixth Form students have also been entered into the UK Linguistics Olympiad and various essay competitions run by Oxbridge colleges.
