Chemistry
What will your child study?
Our Year 7 pupils tend to be very excited to be in chemistry laboratories when they first arrive and we aim to build on this flying start by including as much practical work as possible. This allows the pupils to become familiar with handling equipment and to develop an enjoyment of chemistry.

How will they be assessed?
Pupils will be assessed through both marked homework and end of topic assessments. End of topic assessments will take the form of either written tests or project based work.
