Trips
Last year we took about 50 Year 7 and 8 students to the Cambridge University Laboratories in Lensfield Road to see Peter Wother’s excellent demonstration lecture on the Group I metals. We usually take our Lower Sixth students to Lensfield Road to see all the analytical equipment, but in 2011 we were fortunate to welcome Andrew Thompson who presented “Spectroscopy in a Suitcase” which was funded by the Royal Society of Chemistry.
