Trips

We feel it is imperative that pupils view artwork first-hand and we encourage all of them to visit galleries in their free time. We also take pupils out on a variety of trips and workshops including:

• Year 7 cross-curricular trip with RS to Ely Cathedral
• Year 9 cross-curricular trip to the Saatchi Gallery and Royal Court
• Year 10 and 11 trips and workshops to various major national exhibitions and the Curwen Print Study Centre.
• Lower and Upper Sixth trips and workshops to various major national exhibitions, degree shows and the Curwen Print Study Centre.

These experiences greatly enhance their understanding of Art and Design and inform their assessed coursework.

Clubs

Art Club and Craft Club are popular and run twice a week at lunchtime. Life drawing runs each week after school for Sixth Form artists.
