Medical Facilities
The School's medical facilities are centred around the Medical Room which is ideally located on the School drive close to the Reception area. The Room is staffed between the hours of 8.30am – 4.30pm by a registered Nurse, supported by numerous members of staff from across the campus who are trained in First Aid. In addition, the School maintains a link with Newnham Walk Surgery.
The School offers First Aid treatment to all pupils and is happy to provide advice and guidance to parents and pupils on medical issues where sought. We are able to administer medication to pupils, given appropriate written parental/guardian consent. Pupil Health Care Plans for pupils with long term or complex medical needs are maintained by the nurses in close conference with parents/guardians.
