The Perse Players: Wotcha Will Workshop

The Perse Players: Wotcha Will Workshop 3 February 2010

On 20th January, the cast of Wotcha Will - the adventurous Perse Player’s production of 2010 - had an acting workshop with the actress Louise Jameson.

LouiseLouise has performed in many TV programmes, most notably as Rosa di Marco in Eastenders and as Doctor Who's assistant Leela, warrior of the Sevateem! She is also the devisor and original director of Wotcha Will and she came to work with us to help make the performance something really special.

We learnt how to work well together as a team (crucial for a play like Wotcha Will) and also how to act beyond simply delivering the lines in the script. Louise helped us to consider everything from an actor's stance to where he or she looks and moves and how this all affects your performance. The whole cast benefited from her excellent advice.

We are all very grateful to Louise for her time and help, and I would encourage everyone to see the performance, which promises to challenge your perception of the Bard and be full of action and excitement.
