Design and Technology
Technology in the Sixth Form opens further opportunities for students interested in design and/or engineering to develop their creativity and practical skills to a high level.
In the Lower Sixth students can continue to study Systems and Control at A2 level, completing the full A level one year early. This course builds upon the AS curriculum with some more electronics and introduces pneumatics for the first time. The coursework still accounts for the bulk of the time on this course; however there is greater emphasis on quality of build and a deeper understanding of manufacturing is expected.
