Year 6 Microsoft Trip

Year 6 had the most amazing trip to Microsoft Research where Professor Chris Bishop gave them a special lecture about future developments in computer technology.
They were very keen to volunteer!
One of the amazing developments that we saw was an interactive jigsaw where the pieces can change as they are matched together.
We were also shown an oscillating chemical reaction shown by colour changes –clear, yellow, blue, an example of how chemistry might be able to help in the design of very fast computers and an exponential reaction.
