The Perse Exploration Society (PES) is an outdoor pursuits group that runs for pupils from Year 6 to 13. At The Prep, pupils participate in Base Camp.

Base Camp

The group consists of approximately 40 pupils in Year 6.  They meet once a month on a Saturday to participate in outdoor skills training, team games and adventurous activities. There is a four day camp during May half-term where the children develop their survival skills by taking part in activities such as building their own shelters, fire lighting and cooking over open fires.
