Sport has always been an important part of the curriculum at the school. Its policy is to implement Key Stage 2 of the National Curriculum whilst at the same time not forgetting the importance of the long tradition of sport at the school. During their time here, pupils have the opportunity to learn many different skills and practise them and participate in House and School matches.
The following table gives an indication of the year by year activities.

Inter-school matches take place in the following years/sports:
Year 4 - Soccer, judo, cross-country, athletics.
Year 5 - Soccer, cricket, tennis, cross-country, judo, table tennis, athletics.
Year 6 - Soccer, cricket, tennis, cross-country, judo, table tennis, athletics.
Occasionally a pupil from Year 3 may be selected for a Year 4 team e.g. cross country or athletics.
