Year 2 2LC
Children will have attained the age of 6 before entering Year 2. We have 18 children in 2LC, which is so called after the initials of one of their teachers, Mrs Louisa Clements. Mrs Clements teaches three days each week and for the other two days each week the children in 2LC are taught by another teacher, Mrs Rachel Mannall. Both teachers are assisted part time by their Teaching Assistant, Mrs Sue Curry.
Year Two conducted an experiment in Science to see how carnations and celery absorb water for growth. By using coloured water they were able to easily observe how the plant used the water. They were then able to record their results and draw and photograph what had happened.
