Children will have attained the age of 5 before entering Year 1. We have 18 children in 1AW, which is so called after the initials of their teacher, Mrs Angela Watts. Mrs Watts is assisted part time by her Teaching Assistant, Mrs Helen Wood.

Year One have had a wonderful time learning about a Victorian Washday at The Cambridge Folk Museum. We had a go at carrying a bucket of water, grating carbolic soap, plunging the posser in the dolly tub, squeezing the clothes through the mangle, hanging them on the line to dry and ironing them ready to wear. It was all very hard work but GREAT FUN!
