The children who attend our Nursery have all celebrated their third birthday before they join us in September. They attend in two part time groups, each with 16 children in it. The groups are structured on the basis of the child's date of birth. They are known as the Younger Group N(YG) and the Older group N(OG). Each group comes to school for either the morning or the afternoon session each day.

Our Nursery teacher is Mrs Sarah Sherrington-Scales. She is assisted by her Teaching Assistant, Miss Alison Yirrell.

This week our story that we have been thinking about is The Rainbow fish, and our letter sound is f. We

made some beautiful rainbow fish using pastels and brusho. Our role play area was transformed into a fairyland – there were fairies that did the tidying up, tooth fairies and even fairies that made you go to sleep!

We investigated flour and found out what happened when you mix it with water with interesting and very gooey results!
