Assemblies
The aim of Assembly is for the school to come together with a common focus. It helps the children to see themselves as part of the school community as well as being part of the wider Perse community. Individual achievements are celebrated and we sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to those who are having a particularly special week.
Assembly is held every day for Reception to Year 2 and we are joined by Nursery when appropriate. Subjects include seasonal themes, celebrations of festivals from a range of religions, or stories with a moral purpose.
Assemblies are further enhanced with visits from a range of speakers of various occupations within Cambridge, sportsmen and women and staff from the wider Perse School.
