Lower Sixth

All applicants will be invited to attend an interview at the school in early December and we will seek a reference from their current school.

Any offer of a place to will be conditional on GCSE results. As a guide, we would expect a student to achieve a minimum of 70 points at GCSE (counting an A* as 10, A as 8, B as 6 etc.) with at least an A grade in the subjects they wish to study in the Lower Sixth.

Students may apply for Academic, Art, Drama, General, Music and Sports Scholarships, each of which have their own assessments. For entry in 2013, the Academic Scholarship exams will take place on Saturday 1st December 2012.

Pupils with Special Educational Needs should discuss their application with the school prior to their interview and/or assessment.

Overseas applicants

Overseas applicants are required to sit an Entrance Test at the school on Saturday 1st December 2012. They will also be expected to have achieved at least 6.5 in IELTS. We will only consider Sixth Form applications from overseas students if the applicant resides with a parent or legal guardian in the Cambridge area. All guardianship arrangements must be approved by the school.
